Join Mariana from the Reitz Union Arts & Crafts Center to learn how to use old or scrap paper to make beautiful beads. The beads can be used to make jewelry, key chains, and many other projects.

You will need:

• Paper—newspaper, magazines, colored cardstock, used printer paper, wrapping paper
• Pencil
• Ruler
• Scissors
• Something to wrap the paper around: this can be a wooden dowel, metal skewer, knitting needle, chopstick or even a stick from outside
• Toothpicks to hold beads while drying
•  Clear nail polish
