Police Citizen Encounters have recently been in the news non-stop. UF Student Legal Services wants to proactively educate our students about their rights when interacting with law enforcement. In this workshop, we will analyze a number of vital interaction patterns and the best ways to deal with each: being stopped in your car, in person and in your home or apartment. We will also discuss protest rights and responsibilities. Our goal is to proactively protect and educate you on these pressing matters and to keep our students safe in each of these situations.
