Enjoy a warm cup of chai and spill the tea with us about contemporary issues in the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American community. Join us to discuss the intersectionality of our identities and our experiences with these issues in a casual and comfortable environment.

Chai Chats is an open space for students to engage in dialogue around current and contemporary social, political, and economical issues affecting the Asian and Asian-American community. By participating in this, students will create a safe space to share their opinions, personal experiences and learn more about these issues through speakers and active dialogue with other students and faculty.

This event will focus on Surging Discrimination due to COVID-19. Students will discuss the anti-Asian hate crimes and surging discrimination the community faces every day as we discuss based on guided questions and personal experiences in this safe space.
